Mar 16 2023 832 PM EDT — The Dallas Mavericks will once again be without several key players, including star Luka Dončić, when they face the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night. In addition, Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis are listed as questionable for the game with undisclosed injuries.

Dončić has been out with a right calf strain since early February, while Davis has been dealing with a left adductor strain. James missed the Lakers' last game with a sore right ankle.

The Mavericks are also expected to be without Maxi Kleber (right hamstring strain) and Dorian Finney-Smith (left hip contusion). Josh Green (right elbow contusion) is listed as probable.

The Lakers, meanwhile, are also dealing with several injuries. In addition to James and Davis, Lonnie Walker IV (left knee tendinitis) and Dennis Schröder (right ankle sprain) are questionable. Austin Reaves (left hamstring strain) is out.

The Mavericks and Lakers are both coming off of losses in their last games. The Mavericks lost to the Sacramento Kings on Friday night, while the Lakers lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night.

The Mavericks are 26-29 this season, while the Lakers are 29-30. The two teams are scheduled to tip off at 9:30 p.m. ET on Sunday night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
