Amidst Criticism And Nod To Dianas Legacy

Amidst Criticism and Nod to Diana's Legacy

Prince Harry has been awarded for his work with the Invictus Games, despite criticism from a veterans' mother and acknowledging his late mother, Princess Diana.

Details of Criticism

The Duke of Sussex received the Pat Tillman Award for Service at the ESPY Awards on Wednesday. However, he has also faced criticism from Lynette Grey, whose son was injured during an Afghanistan deployment. Grey claims that Harry has "used" veterans for his own PR while failing to adequately support them.

Legal Battles and Nostalgic Tribute

In a separate development, Harry lost his bid to name Rupert Murdoch in his hacking claim against the Daily Mirror. However, he was granted permission to alter his case to include other individuals.

During the ESPYs, Harry paid tribute to his late mother, who died in a car crash in 1997. He said, "She knew the true value of service, and she imparted in me this belief that each of us, no matter what our platform, has a responsibility to give back."
