Malignaggi Believes Tyson Could Seriously Hurt Paul

Former two-division world champion Paulie Malignaggi believes that Jake Paul is taking a serious risk by fighting Mike Tyson. Malignaggi, who has sparred with both Paul and Tyson, said that Tyson is "a different animal" and that Paul "has no idea what he's getting himself into."

“Tyson is a different animal,” Malignaggi said. “He’s a guy who has been in the ring with some of the best fighters in the world and has knocked out some of the best fighters in the world. Paul has never fought anyone close to Tyson’s level.”

Malignaggi also said that Tyson is still very powerful, even at 54 years old. “Tyson is still a very dangerous fighter,” Malignaggi said. “He’s still got that power. He’s still got that speed. And he’s still got that killer instinct.”

Malignaggi’s comments echo the concerns of many boxing experts, who believe that Paul is in over his head against Tyson.
